Stephen (Acts 7) | Craft

This craft is another character recognition task. The Stephen ornament is a very quick craft for groups with limited time.

The composition is simple. just print the template and assemble.
See below the animated image for ideas on how to use this craft.

Take each character and print onto sturdy paper or card.

Cut out making sure the hair stays attached.

(It is easier to cut roughly round the head and neaten it up later)

Fold the character in half and glue the two sides of the head together.

(neaten up the hair line now)

fold and construct the attached stand.

Other ways of using this craft:

Finger puppets – simply remove the base.
To tell the story – included is a selection of religious leaders characters, use then to set out a scene.
As storage – fill the base with small stones, or hard candy to represent stones.
As a template for your own – make a blank hero by tracing the stand onto card, attach a photograph of the child to each side or get them to decorate their own hero.
