King Xerxes (Esther 6) | Craft 2

The story of King Xerxes is really a story of Haman’s dislike for Mordecai fuelling, so it’s fitting that this layered picture shows the outcome of Haman’s unwitting recommendation and his humiliation. Philip & Ethiopian (Acts 8) | Craft

The story of Philip and the Ethiopian is a reminder that the message of the gospel can be confusing to those who have not yet had it explained to them. This very quick and simple craft will give the children a picture to take home where the reminder to share the big story quite literally jumps out at them.

Updated Craft – Old graphics still available.

Esther (Esther 4) | Craft 2

The lesson on Esther is the one that brings the big story of the book into one place, and as such it’s the time where all the characters get to shine. This craft makes each character into a simple finger puppet and allows you to explore the different events by reenactment.

This set includes: King Xerxes, Esther, Mordecai, Haman & Hegai.

Martha & Mary (Luke 10) | Worksheet2

 Martha & Mary worksheet 2
This worksheet about Martha is more traditional than the clock based alternative, it uses puzzles to travel quickly through the story and onto a reflection of how we can spend time with Jesus and time in service. This worksheet would be suitable as both an individual time filler, or a group exploration and discussion piece.

To complete the worksheet you will need something to write and draw with and some colouring pens or pencils. Some children may want to cut and paste the puzzle, so glue sticks a scissors may be useful.
