This King Saul craft focuses on his robe being torn first by Samuel and the by David, it’s a really quick and simple craft with a lot of printout options so you can tailor it to your group. The craft works simply by making the edge of the robe tear away and reappear in the hands of whomever took it. |
Print out one template page per per child – I’ve made 3 options for this craft. Full colour is best for much younger kids but much too simple for older learners, partial colour uses a pre-coloured background meaning your kids just concentrate on colouring the characters, the final option has no background or colour at all. You will also need scissors and glue. For printing in full colour PDF – 1 page For printing in partial colour PDF – 1 page For printing with no colour PDF – 1 page |
Add any colour you need to then cut our the two shapes. (If you prefer you can glue first) |
Glue the two shapes together so the design is now on both sides. |
Fold along the black lines on the back. You may want to use the torn pieces of robe as guides to get a more effective illusion of the piece being ripped away. |
