By the reactions we get in this story, the famous dance of David, in his skimpy linen slip, was much more a “dad dance” than anything technically stunning: but, partly, that is the point. The dance is an out flowing of joy, and this craft captures that simply.
To make this craft, you will need the 1-page template printout, scissors, and 2 split pins: it’s also helpful to have a hole punch, but not essential.
Cut out around the shapes
(These are very forgiving and really don’t need to be exact).
Punch four holes where the small circles indicate.
Thread a split pin through the handle and the off-centre hole in the arm’s piece.
Thread the second split pin through the body and the middle armhole.
Turn your creation over and it is complete.
Pull the handle gently, and David’s arms will wave as he dances.
